The Happy Desktops Project

This is the release of the Happy Desktops Project.  Pay 0, or any amount you feel the images are worth, and please enjoy 15 hand drawn desktop images starring Happy and his friends!

The screenshots of the project on this page are previews of some of the images you will find inside the zip file.  The files inside the zip are of high enough resolution to fit a standard 4K desktop, and should also be usable on any lower resolution desktops.  A few of the early images were drawn at the wrong ratio and will leave some border uncolored on the sides, this is normal and easily fixed or worked around with the computer desktop settings in your operating system.

Each image originally included some text I wrote to explain more about the drawings and world within.  I am including the text in an ImageDescriptions.rtf file within the zip.  As far as I know, rtf files should be readable across all major platforms.  If for whatever reason your platform doesn't allow you to open the file, email me and I will be happy to find another solution to get the writing to you.

About these drawings

I spent about a year on and off drawing and exploring the worlds these images create.  The patreon page never really took off, and life has now taken me onto other projects.  Instead of having the project vanish with the closing of the patreon page, my Patreons and I have agreed to release the entire project for "Pay what you want".

The original mission of this project was to bring cheer and joy to everyone through exploring this strange Happy world I've had tumbling around in my head.  Releasing these images so that anyone, regardless of income amount, can simply download and enjoy the content feels like the best way to accomplish that goal given the circumstances.

Please do download the images even if you cannot afford to donate.  It would make me quite happy simply knowing these drawings are making other people's day a little bit brighter. :)
